| The Adult Education Program teaches English through beginning and intermediate ESOL classes, a large volunteer and peer tutoring programs, and a citizenship class. Support services include counseling and advocacy, and a computer literacy class. At the beginning ESOL levels, instruction is bilingual in English and Chinese. The program introduces more English-only instruction as the students progress, with the last levels taught entirely in English. At the upper levels, students learn the English they need to enter higher-level ESOL or job training programs. |
