BCEC is a non-denominational church located in Chinatown that is committed to sharing the love of Christ with others. Since its beginnings in 1961, BCEC has mobilized its members to be a blessing to the community. Our workers are volunteers from the church membership. Over 1000 people come each Sunday to six worship services in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin. There are many other ministries for various age groups in the three languages where all are welcome.

Courses And Course Levels:
ESL Classes - Beginning and Intermediate
Citizenship Classes - basic English proficiency required 

Course Schedule:
Spring semester - March to mid-June
Fall semester - September to mid-December
Classes meet on Saturday mornings 9AM to 12PM, 1 to 3:30PM 

Costs To Students:
A nominal fee of $25 per student per semester.
Textbooks cost is about $25 per semester for new students.

Students with financial difficulty may apply for assistance.

application fee.
Priority for admission is based on application date. Contact the church
office for application forms.
All applicants must take a placement test which is usually held on a
Saturday morning two weeks prior to the beginning of each semester.
